For rack PDUs, why would someone choose to configure front entry of the power cord versus end entry?

Power cord entry is configurable to accommodate various mounting situations. Sometimes the cord can interfere with structural supports in the rack enclosure. By offering the option for front entry, you can eliminate interference which helps in height restricted rack enclosures. For normal situations, end entry is the typical configuration.
